Journal19 is an online magazine about the art of hosting for Clos19 – a new label that brings together all the champagne, wine and spirit brands of LVMH.
This editorial website is built around four pillars: make, learn, travel and meet. Intending for hedonists and epicureans, it places itself as a guide on being the perfect host as well as the ideal guest. Cellar masters, chefs and enologists worked together with the editorial team to trace the history of wine from the vineyard to the tasting and teach how to choose the right bottle or glass, to master mixology or to tell the stories behind the labels.
This brand content project was organized into two phases. The first one coincided with the launch of the magazine. We built a fund of a hundred of articles, based on 9 distinct columns, each with its own singular visual identity. We had to think this imagery diversified but also harmonious and consistent with the emergent Clos19 corporate identity.
The second one consisted in the social release of the brand. Using the editorial material already produced, we designed enhanced social content for Facebook and Instagram. We asked ourselves how to create didactic content on a media where the attention span is short and the audience volatile. We conceived rhythmic animations, with a small amount of text, and a precise iconography whose aim was to decorate but to provide information.
